"MARSHA"was reborn from a sculpt by "Denise Farmer" for SRD on January 09, 2007 at 8:38 pm. She weighs 3 lbs and 15 ounces and is 16 inches long. ! Thank You!







Marsha is pure delight! She started as a vinyl kit doll from SRD. A blank 3-D canvas. She has 3/4 ultra soft limbs...they are so pliable! She was given a premium flesh colored soft doe suede body! I re-worked her inside and out to create a more cuddly and lovable baby! I filled her with new encased poly-pellets and fiber-fil. Her limbs were also filled and sealed. Just huggable! ! SHE HAS NO SAND ANYWHERE! ** REMEMBER TIME TESTED QUALITY IS BEST!!

Her Coloring is pure magic! I have given her a tender sweet dimensional pure baby quality. I literally sculpt my babies with color! Each of her creases were hand colored adding more dimension. I created a soft sweet color for her lips that is just hers! Her lips are done very translucent and natural! I shaded her lip creases then sealed her lips with a satin finish. Her nose has been gently shaded inside then given a bare wet look inside...only! This gives the appearance of a breather.

She was given a magnetic pacifier with a powerful tiny magnet... Inside her head and on her pacifier. The magnet on her pacifier is set so that it rests on the divot under her lips so that it will not rub them. **PLEASE NOTE MAGNETS MUST BE USED WITH GREAT CARE! THEY SHOULD NOT BE USED NEAR, PACE MAKERS, OR OTHER MAGNET SENSITIVE MEDICAL DEVICES, TV'S, COMPUTERS. Her head was weighted and sealed!

 

Her Nails...were given a natural delicate baby manicure and sealed with a New Technique that will not come off.

Her hair is wonderfully ULTRA micro-rooted! 1-2 hairs at a time! I I used 100% angora kid mohair in Honey Blonde . I gave her a realistic hairline. ! Her hair has a soft wonderful baby fine texture.The best I have! It can be brushed straight or curled on top when dampened. Her hair can be styled with gels or conditioners too! Her head is weighted! She will need her head supported like a real baby! She even has veining and stork bites on her scalp! I gave her the most realistic and best quality eyes in rich multi-tone blue which I have set to a side glance. I have also given her delicate lashes and also a wet look to her eyes.



SORRY! The knit quilt and butterflies are just props and do NOT come with her! She DOES come with the CUDDLY HUGGY MONKEY!

 

Reborning is a hand craft...an art of love! Each artist or crafter has they own interpretation of what they see. In an art class all students do not draw the still life exactly like the other class mates. This is what makes this a unique and personal art. As with any hand craft...the crafter works to improve their techniques. My babies today are not anything like the babies I produced years ago. I am always looking for improved techniques in this craft. Some of the things that I do...I feel are tried and tested and will stand the test of time and I will not change them. I use only quality materials and the utmost love and care in my creations.
